Background

HBOS had previously operated Banking Licences, then it was decided that the organisation as a whole would benefit (mainly financially) from reducing the number of licences from four to one.  Due to the fact that Bank of Scotland has the ability to print currency, it was decided that the new banking entity would be Bank of Scotland plc. 

Requirements

BB Hobbes were contracted to work within the HBOS organisation to help with the new banking licence branding and live roll out.  Obviously there are huge impacts of such change on the business and the process must be handled with clear and concise planning and confident management.  BB Hobbes were involved with this project by assisting with advance planning and the smooth transition.

This intensive projected lasted over a period of 18 months and was successfully concluded to the delighted of HBOS senior management.  Some comments from them are detailed below:
