Jimmy Budge – Senior Consultant:
Forming BB Hobbes in 1999, Jimmy used his experience in senior management positions in both the private and public sector as a platform to build his business.
Since then, he has brought his high-level skills to the table of many clients, assisting them with a variety of complex requirements.
His experiences include:
- Working within a major financial PLC to implement major business critical changes to the operation. He was key in ensuring the planning and smooth roll out of the project.
- Project managing the implementation of a state-of-the-art telephone system for an organisation with 2000 staff and 12 city centre locations.
- Working with a small company to identify the inhibitors for growth; instrumental in removing business blockages and laying the foundations for growth. From this, a new company was successfully created
In addition to the projects detailed above, Jimmy has undertaken other initiatives, including:
- The implementation of a continuous improvement programme
- The introduction of formal service level agreements
- Re-focused a flagging client-management initiative to successful integration
- Sponsored the introduction of a career development scheme and Investors In People

Alison Stone – Consultant
Alison brings a wealth of sales, marketing and organisational skills to the BB Hobbes mix. Her career in both the IT and Hotel & Leisure included experiences, such as detailed below
- Managed the pre-opening and ongoing sales and marketing for an Edinburgh based hotel chain, achieving an occupancy of 78% in the first month and an average annual occupancy of 95%.
- Undertaken several consultancy posts to market specialist accommodation venues in Edinburgh and beyond.
- Re-branded and re-focused an IT company, including the production of a corporate marketing strategy and cohesive sales and marketing campaign
- Worked with BB Hobbes clients to produce clear, informative and well presented BC Plans.
